Good morning 5/6CH and welcome to Mr Grace!
Please check out the 'Work on Writing' page on this website - you will find it if you go to the 'English' tab along the website menu. There are a couple of clips to check out - if they don't work on your iPads Mr Grace will play them on the SMART board and maybe you could discuss them as a group. We are focusing in on the art of writing - using interesting words, a variety of sentence types and using narrative (story) structure to create stories that people will WANT TO READ!! Look carefully at the Story Grammar bookmark that Mr Grace will share with you. Read some of the short stories written by other children and see if you can identify the different parts of the story that are on the Story Grammar bookmark. Remember to meet our class norms! See you soon. Mrs H
