Charlotte's Web
Our current focus novel...
This week we are focusing on getting as much reading done as possible.
This means EVERYONE is responsible for some independent reading! If you click on the book cover image above left you will access a webpage that has read alouds for each chapter. This will be a great way for you to 'read' the chapters if you find it challenging to do this alone. Remember to have your PDF version of the novel on screen so you can follow along.
This week's 'To Dos':

This week's 'To Dos':
- Continue adding to your word web as you read - remember this means adding any interesting and new words to your web.
- Continue to summarise each chapter as you read it - main point and four extra pieces of information you have learned in that chapter.
- Remember to add to your character profile pages in your English books - every time you read about a character add details to these pages.
- Finish your 'perspective' sketch (remember our 'eyes' looking at a particular scene from a particular character's point of view?) These need to have colour and be of a published quality.
- Read, read, read!
